When I started as an intern at Rademaker in 2004, I started in the Service Department and conducted a customer satisfaction survey. During my internship I was asked to stay afterwards and after working as an on-call employee for several years, I started my ‘real job’ as a Spare Parts Engineer on the first of September 2008.Thanks to the great atmosphere in the service department, I felt right at home!
After two years I was promoted to the role of Service Coordinator, only to be promoted to Assembly Team Leader two years later. At the time, this was still part of the same department, but soon we were moved internally and eventually, after the major renovation, my teammates and myself ended up working right next to our assembly hall.
For years, I enjoyed supervising various projects inside and outside our premise. However, I noticed that I was ready for a new challenge. Luckily, opportunities are always around the corner at Rademaker. In 2021, I therefore started as Project Manager and I still fulfil that role. The great thing about my current position is the variation between internal contact and customer contact. It is nice to get all the background and history and to see how Rademaker can help them develop even further. By communicating honestly and openly, I manage projects from start to finish.
Because I have now worked in several departments, the different aspects in the work are not unfamiliar to me.
I also enjoy working with the other departments and colleagues. Rademaker is a nice organization where everyone is easy to approach and where a lot is possible. As a company, Rademaker is ambitious and gives you plenty of opportunities to grow. And the various training courses organized internally and externally enable me to perform my job even better.
