When I was looking for a new challenge 28 years ago, I applied for the position of field service engineer at Rademaker.I was going to install machines at customers’ premises. From the start, Rademaker felt like a warm jacket in which the atmosphere and work ethos fit well, as I experienced a high degree of collegiality. During my field service period, I was able to learn a lot about the Rademaker machines and their functioning in practice. And with my hardware background, a switch to engineering was a nice new step in my development within Rademaker. Taking my knowledge from the field sales period with me, I developed myself within the engineering department. Here, I experienced personal growth in different positions and knowledge in various fields.
After engineering for some time, I started working as a team leader in the Engineering department, where I managed a fine team of hardware engineers. I guided them in their work, directed hardware developments and applied new techniques in the controls of our newest machines.
Recently I decided to switch to the role of System Engineer, in which I enjoy connecting different engineering disciplines and focussing more on our techonology. Rademaker is a wonderful company with lots of technology, high-quality machines and a place where you can develop yourself, either in your own field or in another field as part of another department.
So, if you’re looking for a company that makes beautiful machines, where there is a good working atmosphere and where you can develop and advance yourself, Rademaker is the place to be!
